Background

Kelly McCaughey has been pursuing her career since 1991. Kelly refined her skills at Grande Prairie Equestrian Center under the excellent tutelage of Victoria Ellington, an accomplished equestrian instructor. Kelly was involved in all aspects of training, teaching, showing, and sales.

She was active in the A/B circuit and also NIHJA shows, and received multiple awards. Her career in all things horse includes experience in Hunter/Jumper and Dressage.

Kelly has worked with many breeds: Thoroughbreds, Warmbloods, Quarter horses, POAs, and crosses. She is exceptional at identifying both strengths and opportunities so efforts may be focused on achieving the next goal for each individual rider/horse team.

Her coaching style emphasizes safety and fun in a stair step format that is easy to follow and practice, and which crosses over into every discipline. Plus, she trains problem horses to find their hidden talents as hunter/jumper, dressage, or trail horses.
